Um, About Those VP Debates…

GTFOHWTBS.

(CNN) — McCain supporter Sen. Lindsey Graham tells CNN the McCain campaign is proposing to the Presidential Debate Commission and the Obama camp that if there’s no bailout deal by Friday, the first presidential debate should take the place of the VP debate, currently scheduled for next Thursday, October 2 in St. Louis.

In this scenario, the vice presidential debate between Joe Biden and Sarah Palin would be rescheduled for a date yet to be determined, and take place in Oxford, Mississippi, currently slated to be the site of the first presidential faceoff this Friday.

Graham says the McCain camp is well aware of the position of the Obama campaign and the debate commission that the debate should go on as planned — but both he and another senior McCain adviser insist the Republican nominee will not go to the debate Friday if there’s no deal on the bailout.

McCain is clearly running from a fight!!!! The political candidate machine at the RNC knows that he will lose the debate on Style and Substance and so he must perform any and all shenanigans as prescribed for him to have a chance at winning. The RNC circus that started with the clearly political move of picking a Palin, to win the election not govern, is continuing with this piteous lamentable tactic seeking to both shield McCain from obvious likely failure and take the politics to the stage on the floor of the senate and obfuscate that process and sell it as some sort of beautiful feat by McCain. They are also trying to keep Palin from her date with the guilotine with the same fell swoop…audacious tactics. Call them to account!!!!

check how Barney Frank calls it the ultimate “hail mary” a straight fake move to try to take eyes of policy using the “i’m in washington, patriotic. dude’s on the campaign trail …politician.” http://www.portfolio.com/views/blogs/capital/2008/09/24/showdown-at-ole-miss

as crazy a gambit as it is, i’m don’t underestimate the voters he’s after with this game.

My solution: Let the VPs debate this Friday. If Sarah Palin is confident, capable, and qualified, that shouldn’t be an issue. In a time of crisis, she would be acting on the President’s behalf. Seems reasonable to think she can do so now.
